ANOUK SHIN

Anouk Shin is a writer from St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a 2024 Adroit Summer Mentorship Program mentee. Her writing has been featured in The Vindex and Bowseat, and has been recognized by the John Locke Essay Competition, the John F. Kennedy Foundation, National History Day, and the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. In her free time, she likes romanticizing the day-to-day and binging Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.

ANDI ERICKSON

Andi Erickson is a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy, who finds theirself intrigued. Attending boarding school in northern Michigan, they enjoy aesthetically shaped trees and being a creative writing major. They are a Junior Editor at Polyphony Lit. Andi is out or forthcoming in The Interlochen Review and VIBE. They are dipping their toes into hybrid work.

MAGGIE FULOP

Maggie Fulop (she/her) hails from the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts. An alumna of the Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program and GrubStreet’s Teen Summer Writing Fellowship, her work has been published in The Courant and recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. When not writing, she enjoys playing violin, collecting ironic t-shirts (a la Murakami), and napping.

EMMA ROWAN

Emma Rowan is a first year MFA student at Miami University in Ohio but she’s originally from Long Island, NY. She has work published in Seaglass Lit, Beaver Mag, and Gandy Dancer. She loves running, collaging, and cooking. The last book she read and loved was 100 Years of Solitude.

DIYA TYAGI

Diya Tyagi is a perpetually tired writer and poet. She has an unhealthy relationship with caffeine and semicolons. Diya volunteers as a staff writer at Taxi Society Magazine and The Loft Literary. She enjoys baking and is experimenting with film.

BEN RAMAKRISHNAN

Ben Ramakrishnan is a matcha-addicted poet and tired graphic designer who loves Fleetwood Mac and the Oxford comma. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Vellichor Literary and co-founder of Youth Peace & Language Association. In his free time, you can catch him writing his novel or performing onstage.

CHRYSANNE

As a writer of all things love, loss, and longing, Chrysanne is currently working on a poetry collection and three novels. She volunteers at other magazines including Venus Darling and Girlhood Mag. Her works have also been published in By the Beach Journal, Vellichor Literary, Spiritus Mundi Review, and others. She enjoys revisiting her favorite books and shows, giving imaginary speeches, and abusing the use of em dashes and semicolons.

ANGIE LUCIEN

Angie Lucien is a summer child who loves the smell of candy stores. Her works have been published in the Eunoia Review, Ink & Marrow, Fleeting Daze among others. She is also part of the Aster Lit and Pen & Quill masthead. A keyboardist and (song)writer, she obsesses over Syd Barrett and other rockers on her Instagram art account: @delucienal_.

RICARDO JARAMILLO

Ricardo Jaramillo is a writer of poetry and nonfiction. His work can be found in The New York Times, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, The Believer, and The Yale Review, among other venues. He has received fellowships from the National Book Critics Circle, The Fulbright Commission, and la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he was previously a Profesor de Asignatura (Lecturer). This year, Ricardo is beginning a PhD in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Southern California. He is also beginning work on his first book: the incomplete biography of a volcano.
